Blue Belt, the second level of Nia education, explores how to create healthy relationships through body-centered communication. The intensive introduces the next set of 13 Nia principles, which focus on the 4 realms of the body, mind, emotions and spirit. While the White Belt curriculum focuses entirely on awareness of physical sensation, Blut Belt applies these skills to explore internal sensations as perceived through--but distinct from--physical sensations in the body. Winalee calls it the Spa-AHHHHH Belt of Nia!
The training begins on Saturday, June 17 at 3pm and ends on Friday, June 23 at 5pm.
Winalee Zeeb is a Nia First Degree Black Belt Teacher and White, Green, Blue and Brown Belt Trainer who has been teaching since 1991. As Nia Co-Creator Debbie Rosas shares, "Winalee truly models what it means to listen to sensation and choose Joy in every moment."

Step into a Nia class and feel strengthened, flexible, relaxed, and more balanced, emotionally and physically. Nia is a low-impact mind-body fitness class which combines dance, martial arts and healing arts such as yoga. This class is easy on the joints and students are encouraged to move according to their body's way, so it is a wonderful workout for all ages. We host regular events which introduce Nia to new audiences and create opportunities to become part of the Triangle Nia community.
